Another Shots..

21st August 2007,

I was suppose to update this and put it up on the net last weekend but since I got a little caught up, the pics had to be posted today. Anyway its better now than never.

My camera phone is almost full and I'm getting quite bored taking pictures of almost non-breathing subjects, so I got myself another new model. Must have good looks, most preferably a guy, at least an OK body... I nearly gave up at ever finding a new model.. (duh! I'm forever locked up in my office and job) But luckily a delicious new specimen came up!!

Who else but my unexpected, oblivious to my camera dominating antics; Fazly!! Muahaha.. darling, you are now my new specimen..

I had actually wanted to add a few more stuffs but since the florescent light was killing the image, I had no choice but to add a little adjustment to the hue and saturation of the original picture. I was itching to put pink bunnies but since he is my old school mate, I will have to give him the respect he needs by putting the other curvy stuff in.. (next time, I will put the bunnies in!!) Not really the best of my works but it'll do for now.. Will have to take other pics..

Anyway this is another on the spot grabbed picture I did when I was at Liang Court (at Clarke Quay) thrashing through the rain after I had changed passes with the security. You see the lovely rain clouds surrounding the hotel building.. very rare to find in the busy streets of the Lion City.

Pretty right?

Then there is another one I took last Friday in Malaysia while I was heading back from Singapore to my home, Skudai. It was taken from underneath the flyover at Angsana Shopping Mall highway heading to Senai.. I love the puffy clouds..

It has now become my new desktop background

My two cents..

19th August 2007

A few more days to go before the fasting month takes over. Ramadan is a month of realisation and reflection on our pass deeds whether be it good or bad and also to humble ourselves to our maker, Allah. But with the new globalisation and modernisation revolutionising in almost every part of the world, the holy month has become a month of spending and filling the stomachs to the brim the moment dusk clambers over Mother Earth.

Sad to say not many muslims have continued the practice of bringing ourselves closer to god by reading the quran, attending the Terawih and doing charity for the needy. Instead we are more concentrating on personal needs, work and shopping. What has most muslim become these days?

This brought me with a staggering thought.. Will I become exactly what I had described about the latter or will I become a good Muslimah? A deep thinking I might say but like what my dad always say, It all depends on one's Iman.

What do you think?

New Game

Ready for a shopping spree at the most drop dead prices? A plasma TV that cost USD$1.77? Unbelivable? Well that is what this site has to offer.

Unlike Ebay, whereby the prices seem extremely bogus but when it comes to paying the freight charges, it costs much more than the retail ones', this site is really good and you can even do it over your phone (for US citizens only). What I really like about it is the FREE shipping rate and bidding the lowest unique price. So no burnt out pocket holes for me.

To learn more about the instructions on bidding, you can view it here. It's really simple and easy when I read the instructions although I did get a little confuse on the last part of the description regarding the Tax Department. But after watching the video on it, it pretty clears up every confusion I have.

Interested? You can just drop in here.

Silver or Steel?

A little metaphor to make you guys ponder a while on the topic I've decided to crack up today.

A friend of mine has just recently requested for me to do a little check up on the ever-on-going Swiss Cash Investment scheme that now goes by the domain of : http://www.swisscash.net. I wouldn't have bothered to even glance it up but since he has said that a friend of his has invested SGD$3000.00 and will now be receiving SGD$12,000.00 in a few months time although I didn't manage to ask how long was the investment but the idea of getting like 400% of interest p.a sounds totally bogus to me. And so I've decided to compile a few scrap notes on them.

I couldn't manage to open the site despite several attempts at different timing and also different download speeds and computers ( I have a laptop and a desktop). But I did manage to whack it up in my usual anti-scammers community site and found quite a few quirks on this "GET SCAMMERS RICH SCHEME".

1) Found that their most occured visitors on their websites are Singaporeans, Malaysians, USA, Indonesia and others.

2) Their FTP server location I wasn't able to look up cuz of some runtime erorr and yada-yada.. Just like when I had tried to load their main site. (very strange indeed)

3) Decided to give my local Swiss Embassy a call for their thoughts on this concoction. I'm not surprised to hear them repeating almost the same thing when I talked to the Nigerian Consulate in Singapore about the little case of that idiotic Nigerian Scamming of Traders. But I did pass to the Swiss Embassy on the details of www.swisscash.net for their future reference.

4) Found that www.swisscash.net is a mirror website of www.moneyproject.biz and all of their transactions have been moved to www.swisscash.net with effect of 2nd March 07. Why they wanna do that, I'm clueless.

5) Surprisingly a website that has so many investors has only 4PR and I'm only 2PR.. Hmm.. It seems that their popularity is as good as my brother's and he doesn't even have fancy website.. hahaha

6) I've also found a little interesting note from Bank Negara Malaysia regarding this scheme: "Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission of Malaysia would like to inform members of the public that Swiss Mutual Fund, the company that is promoting the Swiss Cash fund, is not licensed or exempted from licensing by Bank Negara Malaysia to accept deposits nor is it licensed by the Securities Commission to carry out asset management activities or services in Malaysia. Swiss Cash fund promoted by Swiss Mutual Fund has not been approved nor endorsed by the Securities Commission"

ie They are not legally liecensed in Malaysia even though they know that such thing exist. you can read it up more here.

7) I still can't load the website up!!

summary: I really think this whole scheme is just another scam and unless I have more than 12 people who doesn't work for them and show me proof of their so called investment, I'd advise great caution when you give out cash to unknown societies and groups.

Typi..Typy.. Type!

1st August 2007,

Wow.. Long time since I posted anything onto this dusty site. Work was a great huge hell with me running around like a mad woman, meeting up "DEADLINES", making sure all my plans go on as smoothly as possible, troubleshooting irritating sites/equipments which just doesn't want to cooperate with me, cleaning up my messy desk....
I need another dose of weekend off.. really draining..

But in between those mad drives, I managed to steal a few minutes and take a few snapshops.. so guess who is in the lime light this time.. *cackles madly

I guess Sha-sha (aka: Shahrul Nizam) had a little too much ABC Special(Air Batu Campur).. Too high sugar intake which causes him a little tipsy on the side.

Then the little brat decided she wanted in when she saw the big twits framed onto my desktop (aka Sha-sha n Me) drat.. too dark n my sony ericsson k610im doesn't have flash.. Sorry Yu-Yut, Acik promise to get another picture with you darling.

Amelia had somehow realised her Acik got new handphone and cutely demanded that I take a photo of her. See the mischevious impish smile she got on all the pics? It scares me sometime when she uses those on me... Note to the Sassy Mom: Keep her away from Barney!!

But the Champion for Last month's Picture of The Month goes to my dearest middle-finger-less handicapped-by-accident elder brother, Azrin! Yes lah brother.. show everyone how you try to pry the durian open... and I really stress on the "try" (cuz he didn't manage to open it) hehehe...

Wheee!!!!

8th July 07,

Hey-hey! Got an off day finally and it was totally well used. Chilled out with old pals and had new discoveries. Lisa finally got herself engaged to her current boyfriend whom I still haven't met face to face yet. Jannah didn't make manage to make it due to some unforseen circumstances, but I've met her the day before so its Ok.

Kamal.. wow.. he's gotten larger.. hehehe.. (no offence darling) He's still the same old quiet guy but in a different size.. ahaha..

Din.. well he's back to the old school and have finally wriggled out of his childhood shell. (aka more matured) I know you can do it Harry-Scary! Try not to 'rempit' on your bike too much sugar.. I think I'll die of heart-attack on your bike everytime you swerve in-and-out traffic.. hehehe

We had lunch at Bukit Timah Al-Azhar eatery. Food is horrible... and the service is as good as a snails pace. I do not reccomend anyone to eat there. Din's drink, Ribena, was stale and you can taste the weird sour taste when you drink it. I had ordered Masala Thosai and it came soo late that my food was cold and thosai when its cold, you can just throw it in the bin.

Yes.. it was that horrible.

Anyway I had to thank Kamal for the lunch since he paid for it. We did have fun later on when we had a two on two pool competition. Since I was so rusty in the game (its been almost 4yrs since I last played) I had cost my team to lost quite a few times.. but after a few rounds, we beat Lisa n Kamal's team.. even though Lisa said it otherwise in her blog (sticks out her tongue)

Lisa had to leave early since it is her big day, her engagement ceremony at 7pm but since she didn't wanna invite us.. so I was left with Din to circle the big Island of the Republic. Anyway here's the pic I took with Din at 10pm in front of the High Court of Singapore. Both of us look extremely haggard... hahaha..

And look!! Din is part of the Simpsons Family!! What a twerp... ahaha

Smile.. You're on MY camera!!

17th June 2007,

Since I've gotten the new camera, I've decided to be a little nosy reporter and stick my nose into anything that well, catches my eye. This time I've gotten quite a few pictures , don't worry I try not to breach any laws that breaches one's privacy.

Anyway this is a picture I've taken on the irresponsibility of certain contractors that was doing the upgrading works on the overhead flyover which starts from Tampoi to Skudai. This picture however is taken at a junction heading to Taman Perling and Kip Mart Tampoi. See how the tyre tracks of JCB cuts the water flow of the already clogged up drain.. Opps.. I forgot to tell you that it was my dad that took the picture.. hehehehe..

This another picture was of me fooling around at 2am during my RF installation at Far East Shopping Center. Mental Note: One should always goof around to stop Mr. Sandman

By the way I think I should share this little particular "public" toilet with the public.. If you take a good look at it carefully, you'd realise that the make-shift toilet is made a few meters away from the main highway heading to the City from Skudai. I'd suggest you don't ride a bike during the rainy days as their sanitation isn't passable. You'd not wanna know what floats around.. hehehe (get my drift?)

See the new stuffs..

New stuffs I have for myself and my weird sense of humour.

I got a new 7.1MG pixel digital Rollei Brand at a price of $250.00 along with 1Gb of SanDisk memory card. I wasn't quite happy with the deal cuz I know I should have haggled more but what I can I do.. its paid and done for.. here's the pic of it though:

I also managed to stupidly saw my finger but luckily only the flesh that was sawn off, not my finger... hehehe.. Thanks to the make-do eletrical black pvc tape, my finger was saved (there wasn't a handi-plast). I was suppose to just saw a small hole in the false ceiling to make access during my running of 7/8 RF feeder cable but then I got unlucky. I got the pic of my dried encrusted finger.. Yeah I know I'm acting like a sadistic maniac.. hehehe..

Also did RF installation at Far East Shopping Center. I didn't know they had a Scotts Bar there and it was pretty fun hearing and watching them be at "home" during the happy hours. (I had to do night duty Darls)

Ye Savvy?

Other than the great acting of Johnny Depp a.k.a Captain Jack Sparrow, the new Pirates of the Carribean, At World's End is a total stomach blaster.

I finally managed to get out of my death hole and dragged my younger brother, ring up the fuel and drove off to the movies. The long que at Cathay Cinema in City Square Johor didn't deter me from getting my prey, Johnny Depp's slurry words. Unfortunately, I was a little late in my bookings and I somehow got hauled up in the front seats... hehehe

The story started with shackled prisoners, pirates and their families I guess, marching down to the gallows with a boy starting the anthem of the pirates. Who would have thought, pirates having a national anthem? Ingeniously funny!

So anyway I got a good glimpse of what my country looks like during the Lanun Era (Pirates Era) and mind you, it doesn't look abit like Singapore or Temasek as what it should have been named at that time. It looks just like a picture taken from China and the River Market in Thailand. But then I wasn't born during that time, so I'll just have to close my eyes.

I totally love the way Johnny Depp handles his part especially when he was talking (arguing) with his good and bad conscience, but it seems the good one doesn't have any good points other than pointing out Jack will be having tentacles face should he continue on his conquest in being the Flying Dutch Man's captain.

In this part of the movie, lots of questions that was raised in the previous movies like, "Wassup with the Jack's compass and that guy's eye?" will be answered.

The action and fighting scene is a must watch especially when it complements perfectly with the suspense yet hilarious plot. I'm not going to bubble out the whole story so you guys will just have to march down to the cinemas and que like the rest of Pirates of the Carribean fans.

Another boring day..

20th May 2007,

Another boring Sunday and tomorrow is going to be another day at work. Argh! I need a longer holiday. My paper work is still not yet completed and there is still a thick stack lying in my dusty corner but it has at least dropped a few cm.. hehehe..

I got a new handphone, K610im, SonyEricsson. Its an Ok phone, easy to handle and manuever around, nothing hightech like Nokia 6680 where you can find Microsoft Office at your fingertips. I was expecting something with all those techie software and some mumbo jumbo games but I was disappointed with only 2 games that bore my brain to death. The camera is not equiped with a zoom in lens but its 2MG makes up for the loss.

The small numpad is an irritant to people like me, whose fingers are just not meant for small keypads. My fingers keep pressing the wrong pads almost everytime I sms. But overall the handphone is good for those who hates complexity of the tech world. And since I only need to use my handphone for picture taking and basic telephone calls and sms, the phone is OK to me.

I haven't try the video call... still looking for my frens who have 3G compatible phone. Til then, I shall update the rest of the phone uses on the next blog entry.

Argh hell..

14th May 2007,

Supposedly today was gonna be a good day. What the hell happen to Mr Sunshine smiling down at us? It seems that everything seems to go awry. Just like a grapevine..

All materials have been carefully ticked and loaded (first time no problem). Then!!! My irresponsible worker began to pull the hide and seek game. He was supposed to collect material from Level 20 which is only 5mins ride down the elevator but he came back down in 1hrs time. Shit isn't it? He's totally getting hell from me if he ever pulls that lame trick again.

Then went to meeting only to get the pits of hell from my customer. Another bull shit on me and no Mr Sunshine.

But that was after the idiot of a jerk who slammed into my face (DiD I tell you I GoT a split LiP for it?!!) complained to my worker how irresponsible I was to my worker for dirtying HIS Security Jacket.

Bastard.

I should have added blue ink pigments into the concrete drilled dust before it poured onto him. Asshole. Not even an apology for even slamming into my face.

Everything is not going as plan... ugh.. so hating Mr Sunshine now.. Traitorous Sunshine.

The world is getting more modernised as the days go by. Even up to finding your perfect match with that "X" factor is modernised. But unfortunately with all the techs ever revolutionising, all the great guys are either taken or just simply gay which totally inconvenience me and perhaps most women.

Drug Rehab

For those who are finding ways and means of treating their intense cravings for drugs and alcoholism, which of course will greatly affect your internal organs, this place will help you.

The Drug Rehab center doesn't look like those ugly 4 by 6 cell that authorities usually throw abusers into. Instead the place looks more of a Health Farm with all the fascilities (sofas, TV, spa) to make the patients feel more at home while help is being given to them.

There are a total of 8 programs that varies from Drug Rehab program to those who have difficulty in kicking that bottle of Alcohol. With regards to the successful articles written by the ex-drug abusers, I'd say the center really works.

For more info, kindly visit their page : drug rehab

Row, row ya boat down e big big drain..

8th April 2007,

As if my current headaches not enough I'm now being plagued by another huge wave of headaches, Chicken Pox. "Thanks" to my younger brother I'm now officially infected by the disease. Why in the world all the weird dieases named after the Fowl family, I have no idea.

Two weeks MC and more headache for me... I got 3 site installations next week damn it and I'm worrying over it. If my workers know which connection to run the equipment smoothly I got no problem, but I'm the engineer here and unfortunately my workers is not up to that theory standard yet... die man...

Ugh.. torn between work and pure bliss of two weeks holiday... Choices? Tough choice!! If I can find a way to sneak out of my house and install the equipment without being caught... haiz.. What to do.. what to do? My men needs me!! But my doctor is screaming at me..

Anyway I've loaded up pics that I have taken a few days ago with my friend. Pardon our tired and dishelved looks.. we had 6hrs of pure work before finally taking a rest (3 meetings, 1 site installation) and we didn't even have any meals before the picture taking.

Great thanks and appreciation to my friend who has given me free ride to my meetings. Without him I'd be totally lost and forever late for my meetings. Love you Din!! Thanks So Much!

I look soooo old compared to him.. haiz..

Not bothering

30th March 2007,

Some might have wondered where have Gaya swallowed me. Do not fear!! Zackire is still here! (yeah I know it sounds korny.. )

Actually internet is down and my job has been like almost 20hrs shift everyday, which is a big NO-NO to me. My body resistance has finally had enough and decided to take a break by giving me a hell off of a gutting, you'd not wanna know and I'm diagnosed as suffering from Acute Gastric, I think that's what was written on my MC slip.. doctors... you never know what they're scribbling anyway.

Still thinking of ways to cheat a few free time into my shift and its not working.. (>_<)"

Haiz.. need I say more?

A different point of View

18th March 2007,

I'm supposed to post this and share the little real life joke of a Malaysian's view on the so called, "Armani-wearing-shirts" Singaporeans.

The little newspaper clippings was taken from News Straits Times Singapore, 14th March 2007. Its a real eye opener for those Singaporeans who just can't stop to sprout out "Singapore good at this-, Singapore good at that-" and so on..

When I read the little clipping, I was laughing from the start to the end and boy was it a stomach excercise. No doubt I'm a Singaporean that resides in Malaysia, I totally agree with the writer when it comes to Singaporean becoming an ugly one eyed monsters when they visit Malaysia with its big eye focusing on the smallest mistake of the Republic's neighbour.

Once again, Singaporean can be a real pain in the ass when they think they are the superior lot (like hell we are! ahaha...) even I sometimes I wish I could just have a hammer and ram my friends' head in whenever they visited me in Johor. Ugh! So embarassing to call them my countrymen.

Perhaps the government should do some campaign in brainwashing this "Armani-wearing-shirts" Singaporean about being humble and to just swallow any complains when they are not in Singapore.

What do you think?

Where have all the manners gone?

12th March 2007

Down the drain, that is what I'm viewing. Singaporeans used to be very polite and well mannered but after my everyday trips going in and out of my country, Singapore, I'd say we have one of the rudest security personnels around.

We, the commuters, understand the responsibility the security personnels have to carry especially in the wee morning of 6-8am, making sure everything goes on smoothly and the country terrorist free. We also understand that they may be very tired since they have to scan everyone's items and vehicles and you have our sympathy when we see the personnels cutting half their life span away by breathing in the Carbon Monoxide gases caused by congested vehicles. Your service is greatly appreciated.

But that doesn't mean you can treat us like a pack of cattles every morning and raising your voice at us in your attempt to get the instruction through the crowd. Heck, we are human beings, adult working human beings who still pay taxes, not some highschool kids.

We, the commuters, wake up around 4am (we reach home from work at 9pm), some even earlier, in the morning braving through the heavily congested and unpredictable road traffics in Johor to Singapore in hopes to reach our workplace smoothly and if possible, happily. So I certainly do not like to be rudely treated like an idiot, with the officers at the scanning machine to raise their eyebrows at me with a sleepy and irritated look only to point to their fellow colleague that my bag needs to be check throughly due to my mobile office, my Toshiba laptop.

If there is a need to check my bag, at the very least tell it to my face with a forced smile, I wouldn't mind (we all understand they are tired). But to be treated so rudely... well that really can blow my fuse. A smile, that's all I'm asking! Is it too much to ask??

Then there were a few times when I saw a fellow Malaysian being rudely instructed a few times(screaming from the control panel, mind you) to re-insert his Access Card into the machine. Then there was a time when I was at MOM Temporary Job Placement (kim seng rd), to accompany my friend to apply for a foreign worker. I was squatting outside the room since all the seats were full (I know its considered rude for women to squat but what the heck, I'm tired) and a security guard came to rudely chase all the loitering foreign workers away. I think he has mistaken me as a Filipino since he was shouting in that arrogant voice for me to not squat there and to go inside the receptionist area to wait for my turn.

That really blew my fuse. I told the guard off. I respect that he's doing his job but don't treat us (me and the foreign workers) like dirt. What happen to the courtesy campaign that Singapore government had spend on last time?

What? Just because these people are foreign workers, most Singaporeans think lowly of them? Sheesh! Open up your eyes, they are still human!

I really hope that this situation doesn't worsen. I don't wanna think of the blow it will cause on my country just because of these really bad eggs.

A smile.. It just takes a smile, not your money!

Oh yeah.. I'm working on the trackbacks that my bro is currently fiddling with. He's free, I'm not so go irritate him http://azrin.net

Good hotels at Amsterdam

I've always wanted to visit Amsterdam but never knew where to lodge. There were books and websites which I've rummaged around but none of them ever lasted a few minutes of my time, they were quite not-user friendly anyway.

So anyway, I finally found something easier to surf around for lodgings inthe tourist attraction in Amsterdam with just a click.

Their hotel lists, which ranges from single star to five stars is quite comprehensive and the reviews left by the previous lodgers will guide you on which hotels (service, accomadations) are the best.

Hmm... we can even download their map on Amsterdam.. very interesting. And for credit card users (aren't we all are?), they have a security feature that keeps all your personal details and card number confidential.

My Ratings: You should view it to know what I'm talking about.

Crap

24th February 2007,

I'm getting a little irritated at the PPP segmentation. It's destroying all the joy in blogging for cash at the comforts of your own home. With the new segmentation regulation, bloggers with low PR and Alexa ranking, is facing the worse of its PPP season.

Before the implementation of Segmentation, the Opps (cash opportunity) is usually up for grabs with the minimum quantity of at least 20 Opps. But now.. we can't even barely get 1 Opp for a few days straight and when I say "we" I really meant "we", the low ranking bloggers."

No doubt PP has new ideas to make us get more cash but with the never ending red-coloured highlighted posts mounting, one would wonder until when will PPP holds it lusture with its "small men." From what I've been experiencing, they are more catered to the advertisers protection since they are the paymaster.

But shouldn't the advertisers remember that most of the times, the small army ants pack more punch than a flock of geese?

Instead they just concentrate on the big guns, forgetting that blogs are actually to cater for readers who are close to the bloggers and not for the pleasure of the advertisers and those who has established trust and respect for the bloggers will take whatever was reviewed into heavy consideration. If that were the case, then they should have paid domain webholders to host their advertisement and reviews for their products or site, it still amounts to the same cost anyway.

I know I'm taking a big risk in writing my thoughts about this Segmentation thing but sometimes even the saintest person can be tempted into cursing. Try being in my "tiny" position and then you tell me..

Big fish to catch

As usual, my favourite PPP (PayPerPost.com) has made another idea on catching bigger fishes for those bloggers that has high ranking blogs. For those who has high ranking blogs, from PG3++ and low Alexa ranking, bloggers can easily earn as minimum as USD100 per post. I've seen it and even come across to those that has USD700+. It certainly gives easy money for hardworking bloggers and a good blog marketing strategy.

Imagine, you just need to only log onto the internet, type in a minimum words of 200, post it and you have just made USD100 on just a post. I've been telling my friends of this easy money making, but yet those stubborn bulls just don't want to try. What's the point of surfing endlessly while you can just make some cash when you log on the NET everyday. I just don't get those idiots.

Although on the down side, those who has a low page ranking, like me, we are only priveleaged with those opps that pays the basic amount. But never fear, at least the low amount opps doesn't run out fast!

So what are you waiting for? Click on PPP button on my Left-Nav bar and sign up now!

Food guidance..

20th February 2007

So I just recently came back from my nightly-haunts for great "makan" (eating) places. Since there are so many eating houses here in my place, Skudai, I've decided to drop some info for the Makan places I've been.

Please take note that I was wearing really house clothes (T-shirts with bermudas/ really worn out jeans) when I went to eat at these places, its a habit of mine to see how good their service are and whether they are downright snobs.

Restoran Mustika Zam-Zam
Location: in front of Bestmart hypermarket, behind KFC. (Tmn Tan Sri Yaccob)
My pointers: Bad service.. The servers keep mixing up the orders and they certainly do not like to entertain locals who wear tattered jeans and worn-looking T-shirts. Time taken for the food to be served is 15mins.. (I was downright hungry)
Food was nice although the RM2.00 Murtabak was a little too dissappointing cuz there wasn't enough meat to suffice my hunger.
My Ranking: Not coming again.

Ros Merah Restaurant
Location: Nusa Bestari in the direction of Sutera Utama from Bukit Indah, beside Repson Spare Parts.
My Pointers: Friendly service. Although sometimes the new recruits jumble up the orders, their attentive supervisors is always there to make sure the right orders heads our way. The servers will indulge you in a conversation if you feel kinda lonely when you are dining alone at night and the large TV screen is enough to make soccer lovers to crawl out for a dinner. Food is served in 10mins or so and their Murtabak RM4.00.. is huge with lots of meat and well meat in them.. and you can request for extra crispy top layer.
My Ranking: Good for really hungry diners.

lets see... there are still plenty of good makan places in Skudai but since I've never taken care of the names of the shops... just have to wait for another post for the upcoming good Makan places.

Find this interesting?Digg!

Make money by just..

Reviewing my post or whatever weird ideas I've came up with.

Once again PPP has made up a new way of earning money for bloggers who hates to affliate their blogs or do sponsored posts. See the nice looking badge at the bottom of my post? Yup.. thats the one that creates the "Kaching" once somone successfully sign up with PPP and reviews any of my post.

For PPP users, you can just click on the "Affliate Tools" in the your Nav-Bar on top when you sign in. Then select "Review My Post" option and copy the code and paste it into your post. Simple and easy.. and you can blog traffic..

I think the whole idea is very interesting especially when I finally get to read the reviews written about my post. True I've been receiving lots of reviews for my fics especially Indigo Eyes, but it's still will be very interesting to read what others thought about my random ramblings.

Who knows one day I get to read some interesting insight of what others think of my post.

Request..

19 February 2007,

Happy CNY people! I finally managed to actually figured out what to do during these days. Yesterday went swimming at Batu Layar and unfortunately the sunblock lotion didn't work as good as I thought it would be. Simply said, everyone in my family are all walking cooked lobsters.

Anyway due to a request brought by a friend of mine, I've decided to put up Bleach Anime video on this blog and going to change the episodes every 2-3 days cuz the episode has a total of 115+ as of to date and its still increasing.

But I won't posting up my account videos instead gonna just give the credits who had put them up on Youtube.com. So to start off, its gonna be episode 1... and I'm still counting the days till episode 116 is up... haiz...

Blind me!

Since Chinese New Year is just around the corners, people have been going around shopping for new items (who can blame them.. country-wide is having 70% discount) and doing their Spring Cleaning. In my case, I'm stuck with the usual chores, the window cleaning..

The heavy drapes are certainly going to be the death of me one of these drapes which is why I'm contemplating in just getting blinds or those fancy shades I've been seeing in those offices. And my current obsession is this webbie.

It's a place where you can find up-to-date window shades and blinds. But since I pretty much fancy this particular roller shades I might as well share certain info on this one. Hmm.. like all roller shades, you can roll them up or down as and when you like, a large variety of colors to choose from along with price managers to give us a more little insight tip for those who are on budget.

Their Javascripted link when you mouse-over the product add-ons is a real helper to first-time customers as they help to describe the usage of the item and even show how the items look like. (certainly its a consumer friendly webbie). For those who wishes to DIY your own blind installation, you can actually view them on their full installation instructions guide for each and every product listed or you can just call them on thier hotline.

My verdict: A+ must see!

Another new year..

11th February 2007

With the Chinese New Year just a few days away, I'm still contemplating on where to go and what to do on that holiday. I can't just travel outside the state, I'm certain to be caught in a traffic jam for most of the journey.. So that's a NO-NO.

If I stick at home.. Then I need to stock up cuz most of the shops are closed.. then there's the question of entertainment.. What am I gonna do for the whole of 4days? Argh...

Every year the same thing I keep asking.. What to do for C-NY? haiz.. Si-liao

Perhaps I should do some surfing and see what stuffs I can do for C-NY.. Hmm...

Greetings kinsmen!

Since I'm in a good mood, I might as well share something which I have been keeping all to myself for years. I have been sending out free personalised e-cards from E-greetings.com and not once have I strayed from my cute cards whenever given a chance.

I mean really, as the years pass by, the cards they make really tickles my stomach and most of the time when the addressee replies back, it's another cute lil e-card which surprisingly had somehow been overlooked by me. Oh well different people have different taste.

And I have decided to share this lil cutie with you... hahaha.. sexy birthday eCard and a sure nightmare for we women... ahaha

For those who are wondering to get more of the premium cards (they are really worth your money), you can actually sign up with them and get a free 30-day trial membership to send unlimited eCards.

The yearly subscription is only $13.99. (Didn't I tell you it's worth your cent?) Anyway one of the main benefits of membership is that users can schedule e-cards to arrive on a specific date, personalise them with your own pictures and greetings and schedule it to be sent immediately or on the exact date you choose.

It beats the waiting time you have to que just to purchase your ready-made card.

Oh gimme that anime!!

9th February 2007

Darlings... I got a lil news for those Bleach anime lovers out there. You can watch the downloaded anime episodes here!! Woohoo.. Sugoi ne minna-chan?

And the best part is.. I bought the episodes for the anime until chapter 60 only to realise they have more than 100 episodes!! ugh.. there goes my savings.. So many DVDs to buy and my bank account is trickling away... haiz.. but at least I can them online now.

But then.. I still prefer watching them on TV where I can lay back and roll around in laughter.. oh well..

Where is that thick book?

When someone talks about encyclopedia, one would think of the big thick volumes with lots of words and pictures in them. But in this site, its totally different. They have an encyclopedia for almost everything from ad-related to informative posts, categorised in alphabet formats.

At a glance, the site looks like a pre-schooler classroom, bringing sweet remembrance of my time when I was still running around with poster paints on my face. But this particular is post, really catches my eye. Computer Rental... hmm.. If only they have it here in my place, then I wouldn't go running around in panic everytime my system coughed its last breath.

Hold a minute!! I got another interesting post to share... Monsters aw... a great detail of the meaning and history of monsters. But I didn't see any Monster Inc movie in the post.. oh well... I love those monsters from that cartoon.

Go take a look at the site.. I'm going to continue surfing thru the site.. very interesting

Barbie gurl?

OOh... Have anyone ever seen Doll Palace? Its groovy!!

It's a place where you can make virtual dolls, you know last time when there is only paper dolls and you cut and paste the clothes you want onto the paper dolls, OLD FASHION Dress Up Games... Well in this case, you its much more cleanier with no glues cuz its Virtual!

It has so many cute characters and I like this one especially:

And the best thing about this whole system, you can actually make them and then post it up in you Myspace or as Instant Messenger icons using the HTML code provided. Its soo cute!

Oh! They even have a competition for the best dressed up doll. Ain't that something! So for all those Doll Lovers, this is a good site for you, at least it beats downloading all the custom made icons when you play SIMS 2 like me to create this cuties!.. *snickers*

Check them out here.. its easier to see it for yourself instead of me trying my best to describe it to you.
I got a feeling my younger sister has an account with them.... hmm...

Bring me to the PORTAL

After a long rest nursing my injured head (there is still a small lump at the back of my head), courtesy of the irriating air-con duct bracket that I've managed to grace my head with, I'm finally rid of the throbbing headache and happily searching for new interesting sites that are worth to look at.

I've found a very simple looking looking advertising related webbie in London. It's simple looking site is an A+ compared to those messy-lump-in-everything adsites.

For those who simply love to get their pics taken by qualified photographers and simply got no time to fuss over your pics with Aodbe Photoshop 7, no need to look further cuz you can find it here. They got a large variety to choose from. I kinda like this particular webbie of photographers.

For those who wish to suggest a link, you can enjoy a free ad for a month with them. Quite simple eh? You can also suggest a new category if you can't find a suitable one for your ad. The clicks and reviews labelled in each site will give you a lift if you can't decide which addie is the best. Or you can just browse through their Popular Linkies.

My Verdict: The simplier it is, the easier it goes for your brain. (^-^)

I'm a good gurl.. I think

25th January 2007,

I guess I'm once again one day backtracked. I had thought today was only 24/01/07.. I'm currently trying to pay my bills online but as usual the RHB online banking is SLOW.. and I've been trying to process my payment for the past hmm... 20mins... even after walking around, grabbed something to munch, the loading is still slow.. Wonder what in the world is causing their server to lag this bad.

Finally managed to play and fiddle with the new Beta Blogger and as you can see, I've gotten my taggie and counter back. The body of the post is much larger than the previous one. I think the admin should really consider doing this new format cuz its certainly very confusing for widget idiots like me. I still prefer HTML code, as much as it irritates me.

Went shopping with mom and dad, actually wanted to bring the kids along but because we don't even know when they will even come and I pitied my mom being cooped up since the days we were working, dad and I decided to give her a treat.

Bought new pair of shoe that managed to peel off today (the ribbon of the shoe), new lingeries and its with new design and at very affordable price *snickers*.. and dad bought new working shoes. Told him his boots were causing him the muscle cramms..

Bought a Green Tea Enopi body lotion. The smell and the lotion is very soothing however!!! However the first smell of the newly opened pvc bottle stinks! Oh it costs RM18.00, from Jusco Tebrau Level 3.

What else... Oh!!! *grins evilly... I got new books from NLB!! Karen Marie Moning books; The Immortal Highlander and Spell of the Highlander, both are paperbacks and I have finished reading the later one and my verdict is!!! Its exceptionally hot and a must read book! Totally spunky heroine and sexy Sex God for a Hero who's just a plain male chauvanist. Very good and no, I'm not sharing so you guys best be getting your own books. Even the hottie in the cover is drooling hot.. yummy!!

I also finally managed to borrow my friend's Sims2 expansion packs.. hahaha... so happy!!

A few Linkies that Prove interesting

20th January 2006

I'm suppose to revert the current new blog into the old classic design cuz the new template is causing me more headaches than the usual HTML codes. And the worst thing is I lost most of my extras like my tagboards and my counter. Haiz.. now I need to surf around to get a new counter, I kinda forgot the old link to the webbie.. hehehe

My old junk, hand-me down Samsung CRT monitor finally decided it had enough of my nonsense and blew out its last smoke 2 days ago. Nearly sent me into panic cuz I was supposed to do a quotation and other paper work when I get back from the work site in Singapore. But then I got myself a DELL 17" LCD monitor, courtesy to my dad. Great huh?

So now my desk is a few more space free and I can do my paper work with lots of space.. hahaha.. I also got myself more acquainted to the biometric scanner in the ICQ Tuas. But since my thumb has more and new scratches each passing day, the scanner kicked me out and made me walk a few meters to get my face scanned by the ICA officer a few days ago. So much for efficienism..

But the one that made my work much easier to cope is my mom. Morning got Mommy Hugs before I leave work and more Mommy Hugs when I reach home plus Mommy Cooking. Hahaha.. it certainly a good thing to have her around. Else I think I wouldn't even care about dinner or anything else except the bed.

I also managed to surf thru new sites and I have good links to good free stuffs and books!! ahaha

For great downloads of free stuffs you can surf to Bittorent. If you have Warez, you can just download the torrent using Warez software after you finished the brief downloading and you no need to download their Bittorent P2P software. But as usual, the speed of the downloading can drive even the saintest of person into cursing.

For Christine Feehan lovers, you can actually go to her own site to see the new stuffs she has came out with.

For readers who lover Rejar plot stories, lovely written by Dara Joy, you can pop out the can of coke for there is a new book in town which I have not yet read!! It's entitled, Heart Mate, written by Robin D. Owens and it has been out and on sale since 2005.. I'm so slow.. Well at least that gives me a reason to check out that book in the library or perhaps at Ebay or call up a few favors.. I'm sure my sister would allow a few cents to go unnotice.. hehehe..

And for avid Amanda Ashley lovers: She got new books!!! The model she took for Grigori in one of her books is very yummy... I'm so lucky that I still preserved that book I had bought years ago.. She makes the vampires into some yummy gummy for women to GA-GA about.

I wonder if I can get those books over the counters in Singapore at cheap price.. hmm...

What were you thinking?

15th January 2007

So I've actually posted another topic from PPP and I followed exactly what was required in the opps requirement only to find someone requested that I re-edit my post which I'm not even thinking of doing unless stated by PPP.
Haiz to advertisers, please spare us some space and phrase your opps properly to avoid confusion and inconvenience to us, we are still human beings who still pays for taxes.
I'm typing out a few of my ready-made drabbles and once I've figured how to place it in the blog without crashing my template and other yada-yada, readers will just have to wait.
Other than that, I'm hibernating and won't be awake until Wednesday or so..

Volunteer in Nepal

It seems that not everyone in the world is as lucky as the rest of us who has the comfort of internet, warm food, a beautiful house to come back to and some leaking amount of cash in our bank accounts monthly.

Be a participant of Volunteer in Nepal and help do our part in bringing joy and lighten the burden of these orphans. I have visited and did my part in orphanages before and their living standards are sadly very discouraging and most of the small little items that we deem are junk becomes very useful and even new to them.

This non-profit organisation seeks volunteers who are able to spare sometime to participate in many projects such as teaching and uplifting their health standards if your were to have a doctorate degree in your hands. All nationals from all parts of the world are welcome to participate in this organisation.

Below are some pictures taken from the site.

Listen to the rythm of the falling rain

14th January 2007,

It's still raining and it's not getting any better. I'm once again being in the center of my muses and this is all centered on the rainy season. It was only a few days ago that the news broke out on the new areas that were and still are submerged. An area which is only a few kilometers away from my place is currently swimming with the fishes and floating furnitures and it led me to wonder; is my place next on the list?

Before, I've always in awe of the fresh, crisp and chilly air of Cameron Highlands and always envious of the rain clouds that seem to hover a few feet above the ground. But now looking at the condition of the current weather, I'm wishing for the old Mr Sun back.

The temperature here is like 22 degrees celcius everyday and every morning, you can bet that the rain clouds that only appear in the mountanous area hovers around my place. It's chilled cold here!

Haiz... I want my old Mr Sun back..

Adventurers

I have been eyeing a few travel websites in case I got my usual itch to travel again. But one that caught my eye is www.travelfish.org.

It has lots of info for travellers who need a quick decision between countries like Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. I'm currently viewing their forum topics and might I say the advices and topics discussed is very insightful. Aside from the usual "which hotel to choose", they have loads of advices for backpackers.

Maps.. now looking at maps.. Ooh... They have a very detailed view of the lands in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. They even have the guides on which road to take to head to your destination. Let me finish viewing all other links they have here... hmm...

"Asian fruit FAQ" now what is that... Ouh.. Asian fruits.. I think they missed a few fruits like Lychee, Pulasan, Dragon Fruit and lots of others... hehehe.. can't help it I'm a pure South-East Asian..

Wait a minute! Durian doesn't smell like sewer and stale vomit! It just have a very strong smell and its heavenly to 99% of South-East Asia. Durian is a heaty food and it is not fatal is a person were to have coffee or sweet drinks with Durian but it does causes sore-throat and its a fruit that Diebetics should stay away from due to the high sugar content.

My verdict!! I would strongly suggest travellers who are heading to these countries to bring a palm top or O2 phone with ready WAP/GPRS and whip up TravelFish site, http://www.travelfish.org, whenever you feel lost or bored with your current location and its certainly a GOOD substition of GPS . (^-^)

What's Your Bet?

Ok so now that I'm finally awake and free from my work obligations, I managed to surf into Partybets.com. (www.partybets.com)

It's actually part of an affiliate, Partypartners.com, where you can place bets on almost everything even up to who will win the Us 2008 election and I thought betting is only meant for games and well.. just games. But this site obviously has more than placing your bets on games.

Hmm.. They have categories for movies and music. I do hope Captain Jack Sparrow a.k.a Johnny Depp wins in the 2007 Golden Globe Awards: Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical. I mean he is cutely humourous and his drunken walk is amazing! You can click on the link to access to it.

I just read something very interesting on Responsible Gaming-->Controlling Compulsive Gaming, Limit Access for Minors and I highly support the measures they will take on those who has the beforementioned problem. It is certainly a huge problem for compulsive gamers and they can go on and on even until they got bankrupt. And kids are totally a "No-No" to gambling. Hurrah for Partybets.com! http://content.partybets.com/en/responsible_gaming.html

Anyone who wishes to view their site, you can access it here: www.partybets.com

Tea or Tree?

So what ancient tree am I?

You scored as The Elder. In Celtic astrology, you're an Elder. The animal symbol that accompanies this tree is the raven. The ancient Druids say Elder people are lively, self-sufficient, energetic and thrive on change. However, Elders may be prone to recklessness, restlessness and speaking their mind a little too openly.

A few days later

3rd Jan 2007

So once again I'm late for my posting for New Year. But can't fault me cuz I was happily making use of the great holiday that falls on the same day as New Year, Eid Adha aka Raya Haji.

Good food.. mom is pampering me with lots of Kuih Lopez and Briyani Mutton & other yummies she has cooked up for the Holy-Day.

Work has once again started and although my eyes are dropping equivalent to the gravity's pull, I'm still trying to browse thru the programme channels.

Disclosure Policy

Since Payperpost.com has came up with their new terms, I'd figure I make some disclosure policy so I can cut some slack on telling everyone who pays me what.. blah..blah..blah..

Hello? Hello?

I was suppose to post something else but since I'm dead bored well no harm in doing something else.

For my friends who love MySpace, hunny this post is going to be your favourite. I got this new site, Check it out here where you can create you own avatar and own pre-recorded voice greeting and load it up to either your mobile phones or MySpace.

I'm trying them right now and you should try the pre-recorded voice "OMG", "Your Mom part deux" "Craigslist" and "Hicks".. their cute!! Can't decide the 1st or 2nd cuz the latter sounds like a part taken from "White Chicks". Their avatars are limited but at least you can add and edit them although... Hey!! They got cute hair for the women!!

Lets see... Easy filing for MySpace users and simple input numbers for US Residents. Great.. Although it would be nice if they can load it to international mobile phone users. Then I'll be loading them onto my phone. Imagine! A voice from "Craigslist" ringing everytime someone beeps me.

Thunder Crash

19th December 2006

Pic is taken during my B-day at Isetan around 6pm. Look haggard don't I? From right to left: Lisa, Jannah, ME!!

I was suppose to post this up lastnight but my telephone lines along with my internet cable smoked out. I think the thunderstorms and unpredictable weather is causing this mishap and for once I'm not putting any blame on them. But then... Shouldn't they have a back up AC-DC rectifier to load in case this things happen? Hmm...

Anyway tonight there isn't any power supply cuz the TNB is going to do some maintanence from 5pm to 12mid so I guess I'll be having a candle light dinner tonight.

I'm still refreshing my brain on my Tajwid and all the past Islamic lessons I use to take. I have forgotten how tough it was trying to Hafiz all the Surah in the Quran. Well at least this new hobby of mine is keeping me busy, for a little while.

Heard that Indonesia is wrecked with 3 earthquakes. Hopefully everyone is ok there, but I doubt so. Perhaps this event is the cause of the weird behaviours my fishes have been behaving. They don't wanna eat, keep locking themselves to the sand-bed and jumping out of the tank.

Hmm.. I'm feeling hungry.. wonder what's for lunch... Oh yeah read that Payperpost.com new terms, disclosure. So everytime I write a post for the advertiser, I gotta tell the whole world that the post I'm writing is sponsored by them, at least its better than telling everyone how much I'm earning from the post. *snickers

Reality Show any1?

So here I am once again straining my eyesight and my brain on what to do with the company's website. After marching through the wet and more wet monsoon season terrains of JB, I finally managed to get myself into my warm and comfy office.

Currently taking a break on my work and so I decided to pop into what Payperpost is currently loading. Hmm... They finally got their reality show on their company, episode 3 up. (sounds like The Star Wars Eposide 1.. *snickers)

How I wish I have an office like theirs.. sexy looking Flat LCD screen (it looks like Apple LCD) and sadly Ted's figurine outnumbers mine.. I'm re-running the video now actually and.. is that a pumpkin I'm seeing on the guy's table or is my eyesight playing tricks on me again? (>_<)"

Let me pause the video and... YES! it certainly looks like a pumpkin to me.

You can view their video on their office here " reality tv "

Its actually a nice short clip and certainly better than my running comentary video I took during my sis's wedding... hehehe..

Hmm.. why is it they have such a limited downloadable goodies? Someone really should do something about that wallpaper goodies. It doesn't look desireable to me but most porbably they're too busy to even notice..

Is anyone even reading what I'm ranting about? *snickers

Christmas counting down

Christmas is a week more!!

Oh great... And I still haven't decided what to get for Aunty Grace since she did got me presents for my B-day. Hmm... still deciding..

And since Christmas means I need to go around wishing my friends all around the world, a certain site draws my attention: Pingo.com. The prepaid calling calling card service has very good rates that beats my service operator I'm currently using on my mobile.

Look at the rates! A call from Malaysia to Singapore is just 7.0¢ in using Pingo.com Brazil calling card rates while the charges I'm currently charged by my mobile service provider is USD1.00 per min. The difference!

AND!! and the best part is when you sign up with them, you get a free USD5.00 in free calls. The usage of this prepaid calling card service is very simple with no hussle, just use their designated Toll Free number in the country you are calling from.

Need more info? Don't look at me! I'm not gonna spill all the beans on the site. Check it out yourself!! (^_^)

Yawns.. (-_-)"

15th December 2006,

Tummy ache.. I got a tummy ache all cuz of indigestion I had last night.

Today had another nice trip to my beloved 'girlfriend', the company's auditor. Just going to even take documents from them drains 5yrs of my lifespan. I hated going to see my beloved auditor simply cuz they remind me of the stress I went through every year to complete and proper the accounts.

Now I'm once again facing my computer and thinking of ways to relax my bloodshot eyes. Yes, hunnies my eyes are strained and bloodshot. Last night went to buy trumpet over ebay for my fren. Haiz.. Well at least its not my money I'm paying it with... hehehe.. But the trumpet is really nice. Lacquered in black, looks really sleek.

Anyway I finally got time with my beloved books and re-reading my Fotress Darconis by Michael A.Stackpole. His writings really make me feel as if I'm part of the flow, blending in with the characters.

Too bad his books are hard to get around here.. Ok gotta go back to work now.. C ya!

All Smiles...

I got itchy hand, itchy fingers and itchy brain... *grins

I'm all bursting with pent up energy! And here I am with another topic to talk or should I say rant about.

ads on blogs

I'm not sure if all of you ever heard of Payperpost.com or not. My elder brother was the one who referred me to them and although I was suspicious at first, after trying out and blogging topics on Payperpost.com, I'm happy to inform that I'm a few dollars richer. *snickers

Payperpost.com pays us to blog hunnies.. yes earn money ($) while we rant and blabber our thoughts out on the topics they came up with. Although a few dollars per approved post doesn't seem much now but it certainly earns me some pocket money. The money you earn will then be forwarded to your Paypal account. Simple and easy!

They have plenty of topics or Opportunities, as what Payperpost.com calls them, so we'll never be able to run out of topics to rant on. It's better than the usual "earn the Ca$h-ing (Cash-ing) ads" we are so used to read from the internet. Payperpost.com make you work for your earnings and not pray for unexpected readers to accidentally click on the Pay-Ads.

Of course there are certain rules you have to abide to but that's what makes this site so challenging. A few years ago, I had thought writing and composing stories will get me nowhere and wouldn't even dream of getting a few cents from it. But now... *sighs happily..

Now I'm earning it!! ahaha.. some spare cash, got some new people reading my posts everytime I post and the best.. I get to rant! hehehe.. So love Payperpost.com

Watch your mouth..

13th December 2006

It must be an "it" thing these days with kids. They seem to just blabber almost anything and everything they have in their mind be it spontaneous or planned without caring about the people around them. I've been watching and observing kiddos (idiotic teenagers who doesn't know the meaning of manners) acting rowdier by the day.

I myself am having some problems with my own siblings in putting a stopper into their blathering mouth. I still remember those times when we kids were still god fearing and respectful to our elders and people around us. Even to the last words and actions that were used were filtered in respect.

But kids these days... Just yesterday I saw a youngester screaming at his mom in an angry tone. I wouldn't be surprised if suddenly a bolt of lighting streaked down from the sky and fry him. Too many idiots trying to act as if they are creators of everything and the main banker.

Chatting.. chatting n More chatting

I was browsing through Payperpost.com again and finally I got a topic which I'm so comfortable with, Chatting online.
Link: chat room or if you can't access to the site, just copy and paste the link attached.
chat room

Chatting is like an everyday occurance to me. Its a good way of communication especially when you are trying to converse with a person who is a few hundreds kilometers away and your pocket is having a huge hole.

In my hectic business line, online chatting is a must. The usual topic that is covered during these chats covers large area and to have a back up copy of what was conversed upon is a must since it comes very handy especially when the other party tries to take advantage of you.

After days and weeks of chatting endlessly, trying to please each other with the best deals, most of the time, we ended up having new friends and sometimes new good friends, which is very rare. I once have a chatter who actually sent me condolences bouquet of flower on hearing my close relative passing.

Since I'm posted to Malaysia, I use chatting online as a good way to keep in touch with my Singaporean friends and family. Good thing that technology keeps upgrading else I think I'll be broke when the phone bills have been paid.

All in all I've been using three different internet messengers and endless chatrooms. Since my internet connection is just a click away, I'm constantly online and chatting.

B-day Balloons..

12th December 2006

I was suppose to load this thing up a few days ago but I keep pending and pending and pending.. (>_<)

I know some of you must be yearning to know what pretty little things I got for my B-day. Unfortunately I didn't get any cute balloons that I had my eyes on.. hehehe..

Although I got a few unexpected presents from my close family friens, Aunty Grace. I got a Kooklai ladies bag, or whatever the brand was that cost more than my day's pay, and a lovely orange Thai Silk shawl. Up to now I'm still pondering on how she knows my B-day. Perhaps she kept a diary on all of my siblings B-day since she was there when everyone of us were born. (^_^)

Then I hang out with my Doverites pals that was so crazed about Ayam Penyet which turns out to be a simple dish that even my younger sister knows how to dish out. Its basically Fried Chicken (Tumeric powder, salt, pepper ), Sambal Belancan and the local Ulam veggies. Not worth my $5.50/dish.. certainly not worth it.

Then I was late for my B-day dinner with my sis and her family at Swensens T-2. Great food although I can't understand why they put in Ba-Choi veggie and sour cream mashed potatoes. Its not a good combination with my sirloin steak, horrible combination. No doubt the steak was good, really good but why the weird combo?? still don't get it...

My fish is swimming!!

1st December 2006-- 8 more days to go

Its 8 more days to go before I can officially watch R.A movies.. *snickers*

Anyway I went experimenting in the kitchen again. This time its with a grouper. I went gallavanting with the poor fish at 4pm. Anyone who wishes to note down my recipe, kindly do so but of course, PLEASE link back to my site.. *glares*

Grilled Lemon Fish Swimming in Pumpkin Sauce (lame title.. I know hehehe..)

Ingredients

--Fish--
Half cut lemon
1 tsp of salt
1 pinch of sugar
Pandan Leaves
4 pcs of Chili Padi
1 tbs evaporated milk
7 slices of cut up Grouper

--Pumpkin Sauce--
10cm x 3cm pumpkin slice
1 tsb of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
4 tbs of evaporated milk
1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder
1 tbs of butter
1 tbs of chopped onion

How to do it!!

Fish--
For the fish, the dimension of the slices is quite important cuz when we grill it, we would want to make the skin crispy and the flesh tender. Its most prefered to have the fish cut with a width of 2 inch with the tail being longer. Bear in mind that Groupers are most delicious at the tail and the head is best to be cooked in Asam Pedas or Curry. Anyway we will be using the body and the tail of the fish.

Clean and gut the fish. Squeeze the lemon juice from the half cut lemon. Do NOT throw away the skin. Blend in the leftover of the skin with Chili Padi, Sugar, Salt and Evaporated milk. Marinate the fish with the mixture for half and hour (but I prefer one hour).

Once the fish is ready, grill it on the Grilling Pan but for those who doesn't have one, a frying pan can do. Line the Pandan Leaves on the Pan before you grill the fish. I prefer using Pandan Leaves cuz the Pandan has a nice smell and will eliminate the fishy smell and will not destroy the grilled skin of the fish.

Grill the fish in a medium heat for 15mins or so for both sides, or until the fish is cook. Be careful to not burn the skin into char. If you suspect its going to burn, lower down the heat.

Pumpkin Sauce--

I prefer doing the easy way. Dump everything into the blender except the butter and onions into a puree. Heat up the butter in a sauce pan and saute the onions until light brown. Then mix in the puree into the pan under a meadium heat until it boils.

To those who loves onions, do NOT put too much chopped onions else it will overpower the pumpkin taste. You can also put in mint leaves if you do not like cinnamon powder. However I've not tried it, so if anyone tried the mint leaves, leave me a review on how it goes.

Finishing!!
For the finishing, place the slices of fish on separate plates. Then decorate the sauce over the fish as you like. Add some parsley if you wish. Now its ready to be serve..

Sorry lah.. I forgot to take the pics of the dish. My stomach seem to control my brain so the thought of getting a pic of the dish just dashed off my mind... ( -_-")
