Spider web

Good heavens! So hectic with work and other website, I didn't realise this blog was getting very dusty. (@-@)""

Not only that, this site has been blacklisted by Google for doing paid post. Like what?!! I've not touched this blog for months and they have already black listed this. Ugh!

Now I need to write a love letter to Google to uplift the mark from my site. What a lame work...

Anyway, I will be updating this over. Ciaoz!

Price Hike Again

The price for crude oil has once again shot up sky high and with the future looking quite bleak, it will be a miracle to bring the price to what it used to be years back. With the oil prices increasing, the price of all products and raw materials that associates with it increases.

Precious metals are not left unaffected. In fact this is the best time to sell off your gold. The price that you get in return would be enough to get yourself a few I-Phone. However it is not advisable to be buying precious metals such as buy gold coin due to the price hike.

But if its a great deal and it's one of those hard to get collection, I too would be inclined to do a bit of investing.

Things we do for the millions

Echi.. really echi..

I'm down with Panda Bear Eyes. Been having only 4hrs of sleep everyday and re-designing all the previous designs. Not to mention I just got back from my latest business trip from Melaka.

That's the fourth trip for the week. Mati Liao.. (Die Man)

Now its 8pm local time and I'm still stuck in the office, slaving it away.

And all for my 2million worth of project... haiz..

1st payment from Helium

Finally!! Yes finally after almost two months of waiting, Helium.com finally paid me.

Initially it was supposed to take maximum of 4 weeks for the publisher to purchase our article and pay up. But unfortunately something went awry, the payment was twiddled and I had to send many emails to Helium.com to remind them that its PayDay.

I almost thought they were a scam. But luckily they paid up.

Anyway I will still continue to write and enjoy the cash that accompanies it while Well Known Publishers pick and choose the articles written.

Who knows one day I will become a well known journalist or writer. After all, I started from writing fanfiction. Hehehe..

Light Theraphy

I remembered a few days back reading about how successful a doctor in Melaka was. Her secret to having her returning customers is Light Relief Light Therapy. The device is very simple looking and the concept is also very simple. But the healing effect is great and that is what her customers returned for.

Her first customer, her father-in-law who is a patient for Gout, a swelling abnormality found due to high protein intake, tried the theraphy and amazingly it works like a charm.

From then on, patients rounded in inclusive of children who were suffering from Chicken Pox, a real itchy mess.

But how does it really works? Actually the device relies on Infrared light that emits diodes or LEDs to create a powerful stream of warm therapeutic light that penetrates deep, increasing circulation, and relieving minor muscle pain, joint pain, and stiffness.

Shopping online must be user friendly.

Yes, as usual this blog always concentrate on work or just personal issues. Anyway, I was going through one of the ecommerce software on the internet and one particular product intrigue me.

I like the idea of hassle free with easy user interface that can help even a 5yr old kid to navigate. A great design with easy scripting and debugging methods is also a plus for me. I cannot stand having to go through thousands of commands just to find a comma or a small mistake in the scripts.

Of course, it must also be banks compatible and good for paypal, moneybookers lovers. As I had said, a user compatible. I don't like the hassle of rummaging through credit cards only to find the website accepts Paypal only.

Thus, if you wish to know what product I'm talking about, you can Google Ashop.com.au or just click on the link above.

I am not returning to the old work place!

Amazing what desperation does to a person. My previous main contractor that I had temporarily went under their wing wants me back. They are willing to pay me SGD2500 to clean up their dirty mess since I was in charge of that department previously.

Sounds good with the OT rates and all... But after the hell I went through while I was working under them, I forgo the thought. They make their workers like slave to the point we are at their beck and call and have to be on 24hr standby even though its our off day.. Did I mention I was in charge of the RF readings and specs.. And I was paid a meager SGD1500..

So it was a nice call I received this morning especially when I hear the boss pleading for me to return. Back to the hell hole?

Never!

It's slavery.. No way am I ever returning back to them even though I was under training by them. It's enough to give me nightmares!

VOIP or IDD?

VOIP or better known as Voice Over Internet Protocol is now a money saver in business. To connect with international customers, IDD rates are usually a heavy brunt on any SMEs. The current rate in using Telekom Malaysia to call Singapore is at least RM0.50/min or USD0.20/min. Doesn't look too expensive, but wait until you see your monthly bills.

Which is why every internet users are seeking better bargains by using VOIP. To connect with friends and families using VOIP, both users must be online in order to answer calls. That is what you get for free types.

But if you wish to be able to answer VOIP calls without having the fuss to be 24hr online, there are other alternatives. VoIP Phone Systems lets you connect with your customers, friends and families easily.

The rates are also quite cheap compared to the current rate TM is charging me. Almost USD$200 per month! Nearly gave me a heart attack.

I am Stressed Out..

After two whole weeks of trying to set up a workable without any crashes shopping cart, RAT3 shopping cart is finally stable. It has been tested, but I can't vouch that it will work with other ISP other than Firefox and IE.

They department has been so stressing me out. Instead of just purchasing a ready to be installed shopping cart software, they want us to work our tails off and get it up and running. I know of some softwares that caters to almost all of the merchants requirements and have a 24hr support system.

The company is just stingy. And I'm in charge of trading!! Not IT even though I do have my qualifications in it. Yes, I am ranting about it.

So stressed out. I have to lead two different departments, no extra credit given to the insight and I don't get enough sleep.. Grr... Stingy..

If they just pay $69.95/mth, everything would be resolved. Haiz... I need to take a break in this.

Planning a wedding through the web

My good friend's wedding had past and I unfortunately couldn't witness the matrimony due to some immigration problems. Haiz.. Just not a good way to start the month.

But at least I have another wedding to look forward to. Nope, it is not mine. I still have a few years to go to make sure my finances are stable for the marriage and my family. Back to the topic, Amaliah's wedding is on May and I'm the bridesmaid!!

Oh bother... Anyway I overheard her saying that all her wedding plans and ceremony was taken care by Wedding Website. It's a one stop place where the future newly weds can choose and plan their wedding, be it Virginal White Wedding or Wedding Under the Stars.

Of course being herself, she dropped in many unsubtle hints on seeing me wearing a wedding gown. Did I forget to mention I hate dresses? Not to mention I had to solemnly swear not to spoil her wedding by turning up with a blouse and a pair of jeans as my bridesmaid's dress.

Long and tiring day

It's 1830hr and finally I get to get off from work. Day has been hectic and stressful. The supplier didn't send the samples as promised and now I got an angry customer at my tail.

Thank god the customers only knows the office number. I don't want to even think the scenario if they were to get their hands on my mobile number. Calls non-stop.

I need a break. It's only Tuesday and I'm feeling that my capacity level has reached the limit. Later I need to head back home and do the household chores.

Urgh! When will it ever end? I can't think anymore. Need to trudge back home.

Very tired..

Free traffic.

Eight blog post in a day. It nearly drained the juice from my brain cells. My brain nearly went kapoot on me.

Who would have thought that writing blog post, eight lengthy ones can be brain draining. That haven't even count my Helium.com articles. To make ends meet, I need to write at least 5 articles per day. 5 articles with minimum of 450 words and based on the topics and sub headings issued.

So brain draining. But at least the pay is good. Anyway I found another good site on links exchange. It works in the way where you have to click on websites to earn point. Using this point, you will then purchase ads campaign to make others visit your website. At least you don't need to pay for the traffic to your website.

The site layout of the website is a little gawdy and pain to the eyes. But after a few minutes of getting used to it, its smooth sailing.

Mexican Hideaway

The moment, and I really meant THE MOMENT, I manage to close this coming deal, I will fill up my 14days leave and head off to Riviera Maya Resorts!

Too much stress, too much work and no relaxation will be the cause of my death one day. But before I enter the plane, I will make sure the mobile phone is turned off and a "Caution" note is plastered on the office noticeboard.

It will of course read
"Do not disturb me. Do so and I will delete the entire server backups and server data.

Luv,
Syikin"

Yes, that is how serious I am in getting my well deserved holiday. I am going to don my bathing suit, shake my booty and spend my days swimming in the crystal clear ocean. Then I shall head to their Gourmet Exclusive and indulge in their cuisine. No pratas and Briyani there, just pure Mexican food. Yummy!!

So that customer of mine better agrees on the deal or its back to the Danga Bay for me.

Scam free Paid Survey

Thanks to a friend of mine, she referred me to a good Paid survey website. No, this is not the usual 0.0005 cents survey type. Per survey that you do, which is usually a short comment of the website, you earn USD4.00.

I had thought she was lying, so being a doubtful Thomas, I sign up and after 2hrs of sorting out the problems in the website (I was at the verge of giving up) I finally manage to log in. Oh yes.. there were USD6.00 to USD4.00 surveys waiting for me.

Once you click on the link, you will be directed to their inner page. In the new page, you will see two different links which you have to review. After giving a few short comments, you are ready to submit your review and poof! you earn your USD4.00. Very simple...

I'm not gonna lie to you as you all know, I hate to be cheated and I hate scammers. Wasted USD36.00 on them before. The sign up is free, thankfully. The payout is USD75.00 via Paypal, I'm more than happy since I just earned USD 27.00 from them.

I will give more reviews tomorrow on them, to see if they can come out with new survey for us to click on. For those who wish to join and see for yourself, you can visit their website below.

Get a valid Insurance!

I was having my morning coffee with my ritual newspaper laid in front of me. It is a habitual routine for me to always keep track with the latest news and updates especially in the business line. Scanning through the prime time news, it was not surprising to find traffic accidents flaming the headlines.

For the past few days, Johor has been hit with heavy thunderstorms with flash floods. Many unfortunate victims were caught unprepared and was left almost penniless in the after event of repairing their destroyed homes. Motorists danced the thin line of death at every slippery roads and unseen potholes.

Malaysians are not the only one who are plundered with road accidents. A friend of mine from Austin, USA, recently met with a road accident. Thankfully, he was unharmed, although I couldn't say the same thing about his Mini Cooper.

Other than getting some demerit point on his driving license, he is also filing his insurance claim with Austin car accident attorney. So no worries about bearing all the expenses on the wrecked car.

Blog finally approved on Smorty!

Finally!! And I mean finally this blog is approved on Smorty. Been a few months since I tried and tried to get it approved. I guess it has to be this blog was kept dusty and well, tucked away in a small unknown corner.

At least now it is finally approved and I'm set on getting all the blogs running smoothly and updated to cater to the needs of the readers.

So why am I so flustered on getting this blog on Smorty?

Smorty is another one of those paid blogging websites which pays bloggers to review advertisers websites. They are also encouraging bloggers to refer advertisers to them and in return the referrer will get 5% of the sale transacted. You not only earn sales commission, you also will get the opportunity to post paid blogging reviews.

Interesting isn't it? Unlike other paid blogging websites, their commission rate is quite low, around 2%. But with Smorty, you get more. So come on bloggers, and try the new blog advertising!

Control Price Board to be abolished?

It seems that the government is taking their retribution in their hands literally. The Control Price Board is under the discussion for abolishment. Bad news for local consumers.

Imagine, the moment the board is abolished, all the prices of items in Malaysia will increase up to the seller's liking. With no guide and price control, usual sundries and marketing will be double of what it cost now. Previously, the board is responsible in meting out subsidies to items which are considered controlled items.

I shudder to think of the expenses incurred during the holiday season. Oh no...

If the board is abolished, well I can just say Good Luck Malaysians. You brought it amongst yourself. Who ask them not to vote for BN, spiteful towards BN. If all the prices increase with no increase in our salary pool, I am expecting to read more Along cases on the news.

Well, it's Along Bukit Beruntung for the future...

Investing in Gold

Just a few weeks ago, I had posted an article on Helium about Commodities Futures. It involves topics that are widely discussed in commodities trading and also the volatility of the market. The current price of gold as of 24/03/2008, 0709hrs New York Time is USD943.20 per troy ounce.

So its a good time to sell off your gold jeweleries and your gold coins collection. It's a good investment with the profit doubling from the amount that was bought. However if you wish to buy gold for a special occasion, then it's best you start watching the update of the commodities futures.

If the price of crude oil increased, then you can forgo the thought of buying gold. But if you just don't have the time to look the price up on New York Metal Exchange, you can always engage a professional consultant to take up the job.

It's more advisable to engage in a professional consultant for first timers. At Monex Precious Metals, they have professional consultants which you can engage to either sell or buy gold coins, gold bullion or to manage your investment.

Job hunting

It's a tiring job when fresh grads steps out of the education world and enters the real world. To find a job is our first priority and as usual, we would always try to get the best jobs with good pay and worker's compensation scheme.

Most of the times, the job that we landed with doesn't even corresponds with the field that we had undertook during our school days. This is why there are some organization and companies that renders job search ie employment agency.

Acclaimed and highly commented, attorney jobs blog, does wonders for fresh grads. With your CV or resumes, they will choose the job which is suitable for you. As most of their employing customers are well known, I should say, you must give this a try.

Brokers

Being a broker has its advantages and disadvantages. The profits that is reaped in is very high especially if you deal with the big guns. I should know. But then to get the big whale, you need to do alot of hard work.

Like finding for legit buyers. To get suppliers is easy but to get legit and firm buyers, now thats like finding a needle in a hay stack. Usually we are met with price hunters, the time wasters who just called in for a price without firm buyers.

To enable life for the suppliers to breathe easily, we have requested for LOI or LA from the price hunters to waste our time. Its really irritating answering to these enquiries only to not receive any news from them the moment the prices has been given.

And so.. to kill time and to earn extra cash, I've represented a few of my buyers to search for a legitimate suppliers or vice versa.

I miss the kids..

Three weeks.. that's three weeks since I last had a nonsensical outburst from my siblings.

21 days since my fridge was ransacked and left empty.

504hrs of pure silence.. no occasional outburst which will then be followed by a large "OWW!"

That's how miserable I am. No kids and brats running around loose. No brats hogging the internet. No bed partner!!!

I want my siblings back.. No doubt they are pain in the neck and stubborn as a mule, they are still my siblings. They are the ones that makes everyone feel at ease. They bring out the child in me...

Damn kiddos, oi!! When are you kids coming back home? I'm not missing you, it's dad.. So get your irritating persons here!

Luv,
Your most irritating elder sister

Bouquet of Flowers

For that special occasion..

It's difficult to find a supplier who can supply a large range of flower species and with cheap affordable prices. To get wholesale calla lilies in this region can prove to become a tough challenge.

However with FiftyFlowers, you can be sure that they not only provide you the professional advice on the types of flowers for that special occasion, they also provide good rates and not to mention courier the flowers straight to your doorstep. Fresh flowers, not wilted, not dried, but fresh flowers.

For wedding occasions, they do provide a package for it. For a good bargain, you can get 23 pieces, including bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, corsages, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. The focal flower, accent flowers and greens are choice of the bride.

Good isn't it? That's what I've been telling all of my friends who happens to plan their wedding ceremony this year. On the last count, I have a total of three weddings to attend this year and all of them falls on the first half of the year.

Kedai.tv

Ok so things have been very sickly and I’ve not gotten any Paid Blogs Post to spare me a cup of good coffee. To add to the turmoil, I’m sniveling and sneezing away while trying my best to not look like a Flu infected Rudolf. My medication has run out on me and I need a new and stronger dosage. This is what happens to a woman who very seldom falls sick.Anyway as to Kedai.TV, its up and running and hopefully no bugs. Credit and complaints goes to Azrin, I’m too lazy and busy with my own work and problems to help him with any designs and graphics.

What in the world is Kedai.tv? A shop with TV? or TV in a shop? Nope none of the mentioned. It’s a PayPerClick website that also includes, Paid Blogging, Paid Surveys and Paid Ads all dump into one website. It’s Asian based and brought to you by the weird Geek WitchDoctor, Azrin. He’s the psycho behind it and got the idea from a few websites which I had introduced him to.

So back to the topic, the payment terms are very good as they pay not only via PayPal but also MoneyBookers, Cheques and T/T for local members only. AND!! they are using British Pound Sterling as their currency. Great isn’t it?

Not trying to give free publicity and all but I’m giving free tips to get more money. Siape tak nak? (who doesn’t want?) So good cash, good terms.. what are you waiting for? Join la!!

Which reminds me… I need to do some work on his web design.

Gold for my future

My sister and I was discussing amongst each other about the best possibilities of gaining from a marriage dowry. As per Malay custom, the groom has to provide the dowry for his future wife to state that he is financially able and stable to support his soon to be wife and future family additions. Its also a part give to the bride's parents for all the years they have been taking care of the gal and in my position, the endless mischief and pranks I had pulled on my poor parents.. hehehe

But in a Muslim marriage, the most important thing is a Emas Kahwin (I'm not really sure of the English translation for it) which is the monetary gift from the groom to the bride. The best part, the Emas Kahwin is all under the ownership of the bride and can be in monetary for or jewelry.

But I've been thinking perhaps its best that I have a gold coin as my Emas Kahwin. A good future investment which can charter in a lot of profits over the years especially after the hike in the crude oil prices. And what better way to enjoy my Emas Kahwin then getting a few gold coins from Monex Deposit Company and in the same time hire them to handle my future investments.

ooh.. I can hear the Kah-Ching sounds and I can't wait for the retirement program to kick in. The prices of gold will surely be quite high than is compared to now.

Wedding Bells

On the first day of CNY, I had a gathering with old classmates while the rest of the Chinese Community celebrates the New Year. The gathering was a reunion which was always planned out every 6mths or so just to keep in touch with each other.

And boy did I get a shock of my life when I met my buddies. I knew Lisa was to be married during this year most probably during May or so but I didn't expect to be on March, 16th March 2008. I only have a few weeks left to get a decent clothes for her wedding and a an off day to be granted.

Then came another shocker, Qiuting, a good friend of mine during my school days is getting married and its on May. She wasn't thinking about inviting me but hey... no way am I gonna let my good friend walk down the aisle without me cheering her on. It's a big day for her and even though its just a signing at the ROM, that doesn't mean I will not be there. I don't really care for the fancy type of weddings anyway.

But that was just the icing on the cake. The real shocker came when Kamal, my ex and also my good buddy announced he was in the marriage mart. What?!! Why is everyone getting married? The next thing I know, they'll all be eyeing at me to come up with a wedding invitation card. Uh... Isn't that what's happening right now?

That makes almost 80% of my good buddies getting married by the year's end. Well then well wishes for the soon to be newly weds!

And Quiting you better inform me the date and time of your signing!!!

CNY celebration

The year of the RAT is coming in a few days and being me, I'd likely to forget wishing my Chinese friends.

So..

Happy Chinese New Year to all!!

Try not to get yourself drunk. I know booze runs very freely during the few days, but remember; Don't Drink and Drive.

Wedding Flowers

Apart from the hectic workload I struggled just now and the braving of the rush hour traffic, I went to meet up with my friend only to have myself downing a large cup of milk and 2 pills of aspirin. My friend was making me loose my bearings with her pacing, worrying and the less than organised wedding list.

Not only was the wedding 2 more months to go, the lady had to start all of her planning in her usual style, Last Minute. Since it was going to be the traditional Malay wedding whereby more than 1000 people will be attending the reception and of course the wedding ceremony, a lot of things had to be prepared.

First off was the wedding lists, then comes the food consumption committee which are able to bear the brunt of 1000 or more hungry people, exchange of wedding gifts for the groom, the wedding costumes, the wedding decorations and of course the wedding flowers.

Flowers can be considered as one of the most important part in a wedding. During the olden times, a thrown and stomped on bouquet of flowers can symbolize the purity of the bride which can sometimes embarrass the said bride.

Then the choice of flowers are also important. So to lessen all the fuss and restore back the peace and quite of my little outing group, I introduced the soon to be bride to bulk wedding flowers. For a fixed and affordable price, customers can get a very money worth wedding package.

This promotion is very well received by the customers as they can receive 23 pieces, including bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, corsages, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. Everything will be chosen by the bride, but in my case chosen by her unlucky bridesmaid.

Stop the twitching!

Doing international trade is quite the challenging issue. Everyday, well almost everyday I have to keep track of the current fuel prices, freight charges, transport fee and at the same time answer all the questions from my customers on the phone immediately.

Which is why I really need my internet, computer, network to the main server working smoothly. But there were times when I have to grit my teeth because someone just had to twitch the wrong connections and the whole system became haywire.

I need quick information at my fingertips and every single second counts especially when you know that the customer you are talking to is in a verge of saying, "Kindly proceed with sending your company's banking details. I shall T/T or L/C or make whatever payments to you later."

Some inconsiderate people just will never understand the meaning of information at your fingertips. Heck, I even had my supplier online (msn or skype) while I converse with my customers. That is how efficient the technology these days.

So to those who are responsible for the system breakdown just now, stop the nonsense else I shall personally see to it your monthly wages got cut.

Comprende?

Overload

It's Monday. Suppose to be a slagging day for everyone. But unfortunately its a super-duper bullet speed happenings in the office.

Ugh...

Brain Cells in a multitude of puree.. Too many Sales Enquiries to answer, not enough heads to share. One calculator, One Syikin... Network overload...

Results= Syikin brain shutdown....

Not making any sense am I? That's what I'm feeling now...

Good form of investment

A few days back, the price for crude oil per barrel has reached every trader's worse nightmare, USD100 per barrel. In the increase of the price, normal expenses such as groceries, monthly electricity bills and others has also spiked up.

As it is, the inflation rate in Singapore has reached to almost a 5% inflation by the end of the year and I'm expecting it to rise further in the 2008 along with the increase of the oil prices which I'm predicting to reach to USD 130 per barrel by the end of Dec 2008.

So in this case, it's best I start buying gold coins and then sell it off during those 'peak' periods when I know the investment will surely reap in the bounty which I have heavily invested in. One of the best commodity to be investing at the moment, other than the crude oil like Russian D2, Mazut 100 and such well none will best the most precious metal in the world, 99.9% gold.

AKA Gold Bars or gold coin.. whichever form your prefer.

However without a perfect source to buy such items, the chances of you getting your pocket ripped out is very high. Therefore its best to approach only the liecensed and best dealers in town. One of them is morgan dollars.

It has great after purchase service apart from being a rare coin dealer. They also have a monthly subscription news to keep you update on the latest happenings of the best rare coins and the worth of each piece.

Finally got my I-Banking approved

Yesterday I finally managed to get a letter from POSB stating that my application was approved. A few times I had applied online for my E-Banking or was it I-Banking, and it was always turned down, without any valid reason that still made me clueless.

It's not like as if I'm overdraft by a few thousands or there was a big fat ZERO in my bank account. Anyway, it's approved now and that's more important. I can easily track my payments received from my internet based job and plan the budget and job goals each month.

And of course not to forget, pay my bills online. Yup.. Totally happy it got approved this time.
