Low on Credit

There are times when a short of cash and not an available and nearby ATM machine makes me want to grit my teeth. In Singapore we use NETS for our purchases and it cuts the hassle of queing up for your turn at the ATM machine while we can use our ATM cards at any NETS supporting merchants and just pay for our purchase with an instant deduct from our account upon immediate approval.

But that service is not widely used around the world due to the fact that each banks has their own policy and is governed differently in each states. So to avoid shoppers from great inconvenience, credit cards were invented. But the problem when using credit cards is the amounting debts that some people just cease to acknowledge.

So how and where to choose the right card for you? With the best and lowest interest rate, privileges attached to the cards and also the principal amount, it can be time consuming for consumers to hunt for the best credit card deals.

However at this site, you can view Low Rate Credit Card from different banks and different promotion type.

Is it really greener on the other side?

With the increase of the inflation rate and the rise in the electricity bills, I'm making dire decisions on which place is the best to stay.

Singapore or Malaysia.

Being a born and bred in Singapore, its not an easy decision to make since I'm so used to the efficient and comfort life of the clean Singapore. But as the years goes by and maturity strikes in, my mind began sorting out all the calculations that is critically needed to draw the conclusion.

Even though Malaysia has a slagging low level in terms of education and transport, that doesn't mean its out of my decision list. The low cost living in Malaysia is a plus for me even though it has some disadvantages in the public transport. But its much more better than staying in the ever increasing expenses of Singapore living.

Staying in Malaysia and bringing in income from Singapore is wonderland for me. So what if I got to pay CPF and Medisave? It still beats having to scrunge up the meager leftover salary to be divided into different parts to pay for the other expenses if I live in Singapore. If I stay in Malaysia and work in Singapore, I'm reaping in twice the amount I can spend in Singapore.

Duh! Exchange rate my dear friends. SGD1 is equivalent to RM2.23 ok so do your math. See whether living in Malaysia is worth it or not.

Happy New Year!!

New Year's Eve people!!

Happy New Year and may the upcoming year be a very fruitful and prosperous one!!

Now where is my rubber duckie?...

Vehicle Maintainence

Radiators are a must to repair and if need be to be changed. I used to have lots of problems with the radiator of my Honda Accord EXI. It usually overheats during stationary mode and when stuck in a traffic jam.

Thinking to counter the rise in temperature, I had the air-con turned off and resorted to using the natural air. But that only slowed down the problem at hand. It was a frustrating time when those problems happen especially when I had send it for repair to many workshops and even had it changed. It was suppose to be ok but I only got a painful heart pain at the unsolved problem and a large hole in my pocket.

But luckily I got to know this particular mechanic. He took a few looks into the radiator system. After checking and diagonising the problem at hand, he went up to his store, took out a relay, did some operation to my relay box and after some major test drive, the radiator problem was solved!

It turns out that my radiator was perfectly OK but due to the incompetence of the previous mechanics, they didn't know that a faulty relay can cause a problem to the rise in the temperature.

Radiators can be costly if you wish to repair it in your garage. For example, a usual Honda Civic Radiator can cost USD 600 if you are not careful. But if you know their knicks and knacks to get the best deals in town like the link before mentioned, why not? But make sure you know what you're doing and you have a very reliable mechanic if you are unsure.

Resolution

What will be my new year's resolution come 2008?

1) Get a long holiday
2) Close more than 10 huge deals
3) Go for full body checkup
4) Send my parents for full body checkup
5) Have a tighter reign on my emotions and anger
6) Make sure Ayu and Arul doesn't cause mayhem
7) Have a monthly bank account deposits of $3000.00
8) Lepaks with Kwn-kWn
9) Learn a new subject most probably some bio diesel topic
10) Get a tighter grip in life

Neopets> blast from the past

It's been years since I last dropped into Neopets. For three years and dunno how many months, there has been many drastic changes. One of them is the portal itself. They have really made an online world just by well, having Neopets.

When I browsed to see how my pets were doing, I wasn't surprised they were in the dying status but they're virtual, so no worries on them dying. Hahaha..

But being the money sensed me, I checked my Neo Bank status. Woohoo!! Their yearly interest was NP9,800 p.a. So I just need to shake my leg, sit on my bum and earn NP from my interest. hahaha..Too bad they aren't able to convert into real form of form. I would be a rich millionaire now.

Then they have new games, new boards and well to make it short, basically they got newer! And I'm itching to get a hold on their Draik Plushie. Wonder if they still have the products..

Good Driving Lamps

With the new technologies and more studies implemented to improve products, many car manufacturers have resorted to FRP as their fender and bumpers due to its durability and light weight.

They are not the only car accessories that is constantly changing and improving. Even your vehicle lights have made a drastic improvement. During the first few years when motor vehicles were widely manufactured, fog lights were not even thought of.

Now with many years of changes and improvement, different form of lights and lamps have been invented and one of them are zenon lights or also known as HID (High Intensity Discharge Lighting) lights. It's much brighter than the usual driving lamps and are extremely good in night driving.

Shopping Frenza

Energizer or Camelion?

Both are extremely good battery brands. But for those under budget like me, I'd prefer having Camelion. Not only that I knew of a perfect place where I can get extremely good discount for my rechargeable batteries. Hehehe.. In fact I know a place where all the cheap wholesale items are sold in Singapore.

I can't tell you guys that else you would certainly know where all the Pasar Malam merchants get their good stuff. I so love the place! I can get 6 FA Deodrant sprays at a price of $12 and all of them are years before expiry. Good bargain isn't it?

I do however intend to bring someone into that place so the both of us can indulge in pure goodies!! ahahaha

Habbo?

What's with the craze with Habbo?

Everytime I let my siblings use the bandwith, the only usage they do is Habbo. EH? What's nice about playing characters that look like LEGO and walking around the places in the Online RPG? The Sims2 is totally much better than that.

And the chat they talk about online is so kiddos! The other players talk about their PSLE results, problems faced in primary school (i remembered mine very clearly) and well things that kids usually talk about. I wonder if there are adults who played Habbo...

But what's the point of navigating your character around when you don't do anything? Ugh! Boring.. at least neopets is much better.. hahaha

yeah and I still play them and my yearly interest is 9000NP without playing for years, just sit on my but and earn the NP. If only the NP can be converted into real cash. I'd be a millionaire now.

Pool remodelling.

What do you think of when you want to fully utilize an abandon space of 2400sq ft? I was thinking of swimming pool. Lazing around the pool during the hot and sunny day and diving in when the mood strikes.

I can just imagine the squeals of excitement my little nieces will be making when they see the big Andi-Andi. Rubber duckies, pokka dots float and occasional sights of thrown milk bottles will surely decorate the pool side. Hmm.. Come to think of it, I think I better call in Nanny Macfee trained in professional life saving.

Sure the kids and the toddlers will love having a large "puddle" of water. But the thought of the cheeky 3 year olds that has a six sense of a fish will surely put az pool remodeling at a test. Those kids can swindle, manipulate and squeeze all the good favors they can get. Hopefully the pool professionals have some tips on child safety.

Gastric Pains Again...

I've not been in the good health in the past few days and its all due to stress and pressure. Lots of work pressure and other close related stress that makes me lose my sleep, have bad eyebags, gastric attacks and symptoms of high blood pressure.

I can't even look at my screen monitor comfortably without having the need to massage my eyes every 5mins. This is getting way over board. If my GP were to find out that I'm getting loads of stress and damaging my body, he'll lose his top. Like the 4th of July!

So the moment I close a few business deals, I am so going for a long and deserving holiday with my mobile turned off and washed away by the ocean. No Caribbeans for me, it'll be the dusty desert with lots of dead zombies and golden treasures.

I need a holiday!!!

Online Learning

It's been a long time since I've updated but thats because I've been doing some research on Online Learning. Just because I have graduated with flying colors, that doesn't mean I don't need to upgrade myself.

However its been three years since I've last entered into any institute without wrecking havoc to any faculty and well, the cafeterias. So I think this year would be a nice time to enroll myself to an online institute. At least the Dean would not need to file any damage reports.

I'm thinking of getting the Big Boss to enroll me on a upgrading session with Capella University since the technology world is constantly changing and upgrading. You can't have me dealing the technical errors with one manual on one hand and a "How to Troubleshoot for Dummies" in the other. That will cause a major technical error.

In fact that will make me have nightmares!

Changes will be made

I'm starting to dislike the current theme I have here. Looks so boring with all white and a Pomegranate fruit as a Star background.

Therefore I shall be doing some other weird changes here and there to make this blog looks better and with more powerful content.

So don't be surprised for the changes that will be implemented.

ciaoz!

A few thoughts

The new products which was launched a few weeks back is getting a bit slagging. Too many competitors, the market too saturated.

So now I'm looking into penetrating the market with agressive marketing strategy. Which means all the tricks and knacks which was used during the oldern times will be resurrected.

It will take a few months to see the fruits of this strategy. In the mean time, I will have to follow the market closely and keep an eye on other irritating problems.

Silver surfing

I need to make it big or it will be another 30years down the road in front of the keyboard for me. With this workload and not so interesting work incentive, I really am thinking of doing something else.

Ever since the crude oil prices has increased to USD98++ per barrel, everything shot up sky high. This includes petroleum, power bills, precious metals and many more. While I was driving pass a transport lorry in one of the industrial roads, I happen to glimpse at an Aluminum Ingot and it rang a bell.

With the current market, I can surely use a good investment on silver. Silver is cheaper as compared to gold ingots. Gold itself, the 999 not 916 purity is too expensive to buy. So I'd settle for the silver one.

It is a good way of investing!

I'm working

Ok so life has been very hectic. Everything is piled onto me suddenly. Within 4 hours all the work has to be done.

My hair is in a mess, my table.. uh.. its a trash can here. And my work luckily almost finishing. Now its 4pm.. a few more hours to go before I can call it a day.

Too many work and only a little slow-poke me.

Working life is sooo hard...

Scrambled thoughts

It's a few more days to go and I'm not looking anything forward on it. It's just a day to announce that it is officially one year older and another year closer to death. So nothing new and special for me.

Payments on my Paid Postings have been delayed but at least they have paid me a small sum to make me shut up, I think.

Had my usual day to day rantings with the old man and its usually over a cup of morning coffee or tea. A great way to start my day...
